Due to the many expats and foreign tourists, the demand for western food kept rising and made Bangkok home to hundreds of restaurants ranging from classical Italian to savory Mexican.
Most international and high-end restaurants can be found in the city center along the Sukhumvit Road.
Restaurants in Bangkok
The prices in international restaurants in Bangkok are rather expensive when compared to Thai food.
A dish can easily cost up to 500 Baht ($16) and the taste may differ a bit from what you are used to due to the ingredients.
Nonetheless, the restaurants usually are run by foreign managers and the cooking processes are same as in the west.
Arabic and halal food can be found in Sukhumvit Soi 2, 3 & 4 which is the Muslim quarter of Bangkok. You can find many restaurants there selling kebabs, falafel and a lot more of Arabic delights.
There are several buffets (better known as “all you can eat”) restaurants in Bangkok.
One worth mentioning is the Oishi Grand which hosts Japanese Food for 499 Baht per person.
Another great place is at the Ambassador Hotel which offers a full international buffet for 399 Baht per person.
If you prefer to eat in the comfort of your own four walls you may even order international food from Food Panda which partnered up with over 60 restaurants and fast delivery.
